Warranty terms

Limited warranty for ORAGUARD® paint protection film supplied and warranted by an independent reseller.

Who gives this warranty

This warranty is given by an independent reseller. It is an assurance from us to you, the vehicle owner, backed by the quality of the genuine ORAGUARD® film we supply.

The issuer is an independent reseller of ORAGUARD® film. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of ORAFOL Europe GmbH, and this document does not create any obligation on ORAFOL Europe GmbH. Claims are handled by us.

What is covered

For the term shown on your certificate, we will repair or replace film that shows manufacturing defects, specifically yellowing, cracking, blistering or delamination, under normal use.

During the first three years, cover also extends to oxidation, loss of gloss, UV damage and fading, provided the film was professionally installed and properly maintained.

Our liability is limited to repairing or replacing the film. It does not extend to indirect, incidental or consequential loss.

What is not covered

  • Damage from improper handling, storage, installation or maintenance.
  • Physical abuse, misuse, harsh chemicals or accidents.
  • Stains, scratches, scuffs and abrasion caused by improper washing, automatic car washes or third-party handling.
  • Use of the film in applications it was not intended for.
  • Stone chips, road debris and other environmental impact damage.
  • Collision, fire, vandalism, hail and natural disasters.

When cover starts

Cover runs from the installation date recorded when the warranty was activated, not from the date of purchase. The expiry date on your certificate is fixed at activation and is not affected by any later change to our product range or terms.

Transferring the warranty

If you sell the vehicle, the remaining term transfers to the new owner. Contact us with your code and proof of the original purchase and installation date, and we will update the record.

Making a claim

To make a claim, contact us with:

  • Your code and the phone number it was registered with
  • A description of the defect
  • Clear photographs of the affected area
  • Proof of purchase, where available

Claims should be raised through the installer who applied the film where possible, as they can assess and, if approved, refit the replacement.

Keeping cover valid

The film must be stored, handled, installed, used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Compliance with those instructions is a condition of this warranty.
